Care tips for your #bruna garment

Consejos de cuidado de tu prenda #bruna - Bruna

1.USE

Avoid contact with other items or clothing that may cause snagging or chafing, such as a rhinestone clutch or chain, or contact with jewelry such as rings, bracelets, necklaces that may get caught on the garment. Also be careful with sequined clothing that gets caught very easily, and also the surfaces where we sit, as they sometimes cause unwanted snagging or chafing in the area (the dreaded church pew or rattan chairs at the banquet...)

2. WASHING

We recommend that you always follow the washing instructions on the clothing label.

You can also wash it well by hand with a special detergent for delicate clothing in cold water without wringing the garment or in the washing machine on a short delicate clothing program with cold water without fabric softener, placing the garment in a delicate clothing bag to avoid contact with other garments and prevent snagging.

Always with similar colors.

If the garment has a lining, be careful with the washing temperature because the lining can shrink; if in doubt, dry cleaning is better.

If it is a jacket or blazer, or a garment with interlining or shoulder pads: washing it in the washing machine is strictly prohibited, always dry clean.

3. DRYING

For drying, we recommend hanging it on a hanger and letting it dry :)

If the garment is knitted, we recommend drying it flat, avoiding direct sunlight to prevent it from losing color .

4. IRONING

Do you have a vertical iron? We recommend using one of this type or this travel iron to avoid leaving shine on the fabric. We also love these handheld Rowenta irons , very useful to carry in your suitcase if the event is outside and leave your garment in perfect condition. If the garment is a dark color, always iron it inside out to avoid shine in the seam area.

In our photo shoots for the web catalogue we dedicate a large part of the preparation time for the shoot to ironing.

We meticulously iron each garment so that it looks impeccable and wrinkle-free, thus avoiding a lot of post-production work.

Most of the time, a good ironing makes a difference in the appearance of the garment and your look, resulting in a much more polished and refined look.
