Orange for guests, the color of the wedding season
When we thought that all the "fish was already sold" in terms of BBC dating trends of 2022 -weddings, baptisms and communions- , a shade bursts in with force and is positioned as the most flattering, attractive and sought-after of spring-summer. No, it is not the sweet lavender as we initially thought, nor even the powerful red -creator of the most timeless guest dresses -, but of all the faces of orange . The most addictive color palette is debated between coral, passing through tangerine, fluorescent orange or caldera, they all have a place! Citrus and vitamin-rich touch is perfect for enhancing the summer tan , so it is not surprising that it has become the favourite of the most influential.
It is true that the collections of Prada, Dior, Oscar de la Renta or Christian Siriano already predicted the dominance of this energizing shade in 2022, but we had not paid as much attention to it as since the wedding season “kick-started” and influencers began to show off their best outfits. For example, the kimono-inspired design by the firm Himba that Victoria Federica dressed in Seville to attend the wedding of her friends Mima Montoro and Javier Rodríguez-Tabernero. She was not the only one, Laura Escanes also chose a lingerie design by Avellaneda in the same shade for Marta Lozano's wedding , while we recently saw Silvia Majada in this extremely sophisticated asymmetrical design.
